bmeet helps a group find a time to meet, at bmeet.cc. It is made and run by one person: me, Matias Barragan. This page says what bmeet keeps about you and how to remove it. If something here is unclear, write to mati@barragan.com.py.

Events and answers

When you make an event, bmeet keeps what you typed: its name, your name if you gave one, where, the note and its pictures, the times you suggested and your time zone. When you answer, it keeps the name you typed and your answer to each time. Anyone with the link can see all of it, so use a first name or a nickname if you prefer.

An event is deleted, with every answer and picture in it, one hour after it ends: the end of the confirmed time, or of the last suggested time if none was confirmed. An event made by a signed-in organizer with saving on is the exception: it stays until they delete it. The organizer can always delete it sooner, and you can remove your own answer at any time.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional and uses your bstack account at auth.bstack.cc (Kinde). Save to my account is off until you turn it on. While it is on, the events you make or answer are listed in your account with their edit links, so you can open them on any device. Events you make while it is on are kept, with their answers and pictures, until you delete them here or at bstack.cc/account, and deleting your bstack account deletes them too.

In your browser

bmeet remembers the events you made or answered on this device, with the keys that let you change them, the name you last answered with, and whether you chose light or dark. Clearing the browser's site data removes all of it.

Who else is involved

Vercel hosts the pages. Neon holds events and answers, and Tigris stores note pictures. Kinde runs the sign-in for people who sign in. A map loads from Google only when someone taps Show map. Like any web host they receive your IP address and the pages you open. To stop abuse, bmeet counts how often a connection makes events or answers, using a scrambled form of the IP address that is deleted after a day.

What I don't do

No analytics or tracking cookies, and no ads. I never sell or share your data. How bmeet makes money is on the Trust page.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and bmeet will say so.
